LIFE IS A SKaTEPARK

   WELCOME TO THE SKATELIFE !!! My name is Matt Young, and I created this organization to spread my appreciation and philosophy of skating!! There are no boundaries, No laws, No rules. No coaches, or teams, or cheerleaders. It's obviously not for the fame. Or the money. It's for the love I have for skating! Life is always going to be full of obstacles; So, I choose to live mine like a skatepark! My motto has always been simple: Do What You Love; And Love What You Do! That personifies me, and everything I try. It started with my love of aggressive skating at a young age. It's been something that stuck with me for 10+ years! Just recently, I started messing around with a skateboard!! My adrenaline rush hasn't stopped there!! I've gone sky diving and white-water rafting a handful of times; and I'd like to start surfing, mountain biking and snowboarding more! FOR NOW, I just want to enjoy the sunshine; and Shred.

   I'm currently writing a book entitled "LIFE IS A SKATEPARK" to spread the meditative awareness that skating has taught me. I'm also going to school, working full-time, taking care of my family and skating as much as possible!! I'm planning a lot of different events in 2015, and I plan on traveling and visiting as many different skateparks as I can this year!
